Standing 6’8” Jeffrey Jones may be “large,” but at 5’1” Marieve Herington is definitely “in charge”of this husband and wife creative team.
Primarily writing TV comedy together, they recently wrote on Disney Channel’s Big City Greens and their original pilot Not Yet placed at various competitions including Austin Film Festival, Fresh Voices, Blue Cat, Atlanta Comedy Festival and California Women’s Film Festival.
The 36-episode Instagram series Instagrammie that they wrote and produced also won Best Low Budget Comedy at Toronto Webfest 2020.
In addition to their partnership, Jeffrey rewrote the feature film Shifter for Alchemedia Films and adapted the book Crossers by Philip Caputo, which was optioned by American Entertainment Investors.
Marieve is a 2x Emmy nominated actress who has appeared on comedies like How I Met Your Mother, Good Luck Charlie and The Neighborhood. She also co-created the digital series Pleasant Events which was a finalist at HBO’s Women in Comedy Festival and ultimately put development for TV. She is currently in the groundlings writing program.
Jeff and Marieve also make sketches for Tik Tok about their parenthood journey, and in a few months have amassed millions of views.
